Ways of Working Nudge
Learnings should happen on a small, safe-to-learn scale.
In the context of change, where work is unique and unknowable:
(1) Have a clear goal, a data-informed outcome hypothesis. Think Big.
(2) Minimise time to learning. The only way to learn is to act. Elephant carpaccio over eating the elephant whole. Safe to learn experiments. Start Small.
(3) Learn fast. Fail fowards. Intelligent failure is cheap and quick. Dampen what doesn't work and amplify what does work. Reflect aligned to the outcome. Adapt. Repeat. Nurture psychological safety to enable safe experimentation.
Join me for my talk “Top 3 Patterns From Past Ways of Working” to hear about learnings from the past that are still relevant in organisations today!
